January CURRENTLY…What?

Hi Everyone!  Happy New Year!  Wow, I can’t believe it’s 2014 already!  I’m linking up with Farley from Oh’ Boy Fourth Grade for this month’s CURRENTLY.
Currently-January 2014
LISTENING…. to my sweet hubby wash the dishes.  What a refreshing sound! :)He is prepping our New Year’s Day dinner.  Thanks babe!
LOVING…. that I don’t have to go back to work until January 21st.  Yes…I said January 21st!  Since I teach at a year-round school we have extended breaks throughout the year.  I miss my kiddos dearly but I love that I have a few more weeks left to relax.
THINKING….how wonderful the holidays were.  Christmas is my all-time favorite holiday.  We have so much fun spending time with family and making memories.  Love it!
WANTING….my mom to stay with us forever.  My mom visited us for the new year and we have all enjoyed her (and her cooking) so much!  She will be headed home soon.
NEEDING….to work on unfinished TPT products.  Even though I am grateful for the extra time to relax, I know I need to get some work done as well.  I have started a few products that I need to finish and post. Stay tuned.:)
MEMORY AND/OR TRADITION….Our boys love Santa and his reindeer.  If you follow us on Instagram, you know we go all out with it on Christmas Eve by making reindeer food for Rudolph and his pals and leaving snacks for Santa.  Brian and I are really enjoying this time because we know that as they get older this will change.
On Christmas Day, we are sure to read about the birth of Jesus and pray before opening any gifts.  Although we love having fun with Santa and his reindeer, we want our boys to know the true meaning of CHRISTmas.
Head on over to Oh’ Boy Fourth Grade to link up or to see what others are up to.
Make it a great day!

  2. That is wonderful that you have until the 21st! I always imagined it would be nice to have the breaks spread out more evenly. Glad you have enjoyed some nice time with your mother! Happy New Year's!
