Resolutions for 2014

Happy New Year, Friends!  I hope you enjoyed the holidays with your loved ones.  I love this time of year.  It’s a time to relax and renew yourself.  A new year also brings resolutions.  I’m linking up with Brandi from A Peach for the Teach for a 2014 Resolutions Linky party.

Resolutions

Personal:  I really would like to eat more fresh fruits and veggies.  I don’t really like water but I am committed to drinking it more for healthy skin and hair.

Professional:  If you stepped into my classroom, you would see a lot of small group work going on.  I want to work on perfecting my small group instruction and making it meaningful for my students.

Classroom:  I’m a little embarrassed to say this but I have a hard time putting things back where they belong.  At the end of the week, there’s stuff pretty much everywhere!  I have to get organized in 2014!

Blog/TPT:  This is a big one!  I am going to try to commit to blogging 1-2 times per week.  I also would like to put 1-2 TPT products each month because I really love creating.

Just-for-fun:  This is pretty simple. Our household is very busy with two growing boys.  I would love to spend more quality time (game night, craft night,…) with my family.

What are your resolutions for 2014?

  1. HAHA! I need to put papers back after I use them! Instead...I make piles...and piles... BUT I can tell you exactly where whatever you are looking for is.... Drives my hubby nuts. Then he moves my piles and I seriously can't find a thing then!
We make a point to have game nights with our 3 girls. Especially with everyone's busy schedules with sports and dance and school and my work and and and... I love game nights..
    Happy New Year!

  2. Lol I can hear my mom when I was little, "If you'd put things back after you'd finished using them, you'd never have a mess!" I still need to work on it! I put a student in charge of putting our manipulatives away, so if I forget, he remembers! I liked reading your resolutions! Thanks for linking up! Happy New Year!
