Currently December

Wow!  It’s December y’all!  I am linking up with Farley from Oh Boy Fourth Grade for this month’s CURRENTLY.  Here’s what I’m up to.

Portrait

LISTENING…..We just put the boys down for the night.  I am literally listening to QUIETNESS.  Oh, how sweet it is!

LOVING…Christmas music.  My favorite is O Holy Night.  What’s yours?

THINKING….There is so much to be done in the next few weeks before our winter break.  It will be hard trying to get everything in before this two week break, but I’ll do what I can.

WANTING…To make gingerbread houses.  I have been wanting to do this for years with my seconds.  I think I might try to pull it off.  Let me know if you have any good ideas.

NEEDING…to grade papers.  I am staring at some writing pieces as I type.

GIVING…Gifts.  This is a perfect time to look for gifts for my students and our sons’ teachers.  I love browsing Pinterest for unique ideas.  I can’t wait to start shopping.  I would also like to do the Random Acts of Christmas Kindness thanks to Farley.

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. I love gingerbread houses!! I remember making them around milk boxes when I was in elementary school! My favorite Christmas music is anything instrumental! Mary Did You Know is probably my favorite Christmas song!! It's so good, and talks about the true meaning of Christmas. Good luck getting everything done, and enjoy the quiet!

  2. I always collect stacks of papers to grade - and not because I want to! I too cannot stop thinking about everything that needs to be done before Christmas. I don't know how people with kids can get it all done! Enjoy the holidays!
