June Currently

Hi Friends!  Can you believe it’s June already?  Today, I’m linking up with Farley from Oh Boy Fourth Grade for her cute monthly linky.  Here’s what I’m up to.

June Currently

LISTENING….The Hubs is finishing up the last of the laundry.  Our dryer has a very peaceful hum.  It makes me want to go to sleep.  Zzzzzzz! :)

LOVING…Has the weather been gorgeous where you are?  I hope so.  We certainly deserve it, don’t we?  Let’s hope that it stays around for awhile.

THINKING…Many of you are probably out of school for summer or finishing up your last days.  I love all the fun activities the end of the year brings, but I am not looking forward to all the paperwork.

WANTING…There is a new Ulta that just opened near where we live and I don’t know if that’s a good thing for me or not.  Let’s just say, it’s on my way home from work.  I got to stop in on Friday for the grand opening but I wasn’t able to stay long.  I think it’s going to be my new hang out spot.  If you are not familiar with Ulta is an “all things beauty” store and I {HEART} it!

NEEDING…Sometimes I feel that I don’t really enjoy my last days with my kiddos because I’m too busy thinking about all the stuff that needs to be done.  This year, I plan on spending the next two weeks just enjoying spending time with them.  Stay tuned to our blog to see why this is so important to me this year.

SUMMERR BUCKET LIST

#1  Spending lots of time with my family is on my agenda this summer.  Can’t wait!

#2  I love grilled food, especially kabobs.  My hubby is usually the grill master but I’ve decided to take over this summer.

#3  We have been super busy, so we haven’t had much time to update our TpT store.  We are looking forward to spending some time this summer updating it and making it fresh for the new school year.

That’s it for me folks.  What are you up to?

  1. I have been off the radar all year on blogging and TpT. I'll be sure to check out your store and blog. I hope to have loads of fun with my little boy and hubby this summer. This is the first I have heard of Ulta. I'll have to look for one when I visit family in California.

  4. Ahhh--double post!

    Shannon,
I'm with you on the paperwork (and the end of year meetings). This time is just busy, nothing else more. We hear the term "be in the moment" and you are correct in saying we should enjoy these last few weeks with the kids. It can be tough--but it needs to be done :)

Do you have any grilling secrets? My family is all for new recipes and ideas.
    Thanks for sharing!

    1. Hey Matt! I know my husband likes to prep the meat hours before actually grilling. For example marinading or seasoning. We keep it in the fridge until grill time. This is not a real secret, but the flavor is AMAZING!!! I plan on surfing Pinterest for more ideas. Thanks so much for stopping by.
