Packing Up & Moving Day!

Hi Friends!  Summer is finally here and I’m lovin’ it!  Our last day was June 12th, but technically I didn’t start my summer break until the 19th.  Why you may ask?  Well, I had an entire room to pack up.  Yes, it took all FOUR days!

My room went from this…..

Yes, y’all!  Can you say EMPTY?

I was very grateful that I was able to move my things over to my new school.  I really didn’t want to bring all this stuff home.

This picture doesn’t do much justice, because it took FOUR vehicles (3 SUV’s and a van) to get everything to my new school. I had an amazing group of moving crew friends too!  We were done loading and unloading in about an hour and fifteen minutes.

Now I can relax.  My husband can too because I have been working him like crazy.  I am ready to enjoy a nice long break with my family.  I’m excited about this new journey.

  2. That's amazing that you were able to get some good people to help you move! How nice that you were able to move all of your stuff straight into your new classroom too! Enjoy relaxing now!!

  3. At least that's already been settled. Stuff like that just seem daunting when you just look at the extent of the space which it occupies. However, its geography belies the doability of the work sometimes, because matter can always be dealt with by compartmentalization and meticulous planning and management, especially with the right tools on standby such as crates, a few tapes and seals. Good thing you got great help there. Good luck!
