Currently.....July.....What?

Hi Friends! Can you believe it's July already?  I’m linking up with Farley from Oh' Boy Fourth Grade for her monthly linky party.  It's too cute!

Listening to children laugh and play....This is by far one of the most peaceful sounds in the world.

Loving our new blog…Have you noticed anything different? We recently had our blog professionally designed by Christi from Designs by Christi. We think she did an amazing job putting it all together.  What do you think?  If your interested in giving your blog a face lift, visit Designs by Christi.  Did I mention that she was oh... so... SWEET?

Thinking how can I get a spaceship in my classroom?...Ok so you're probably like...what in the world is this craziness?  Well, the second grade theme for the upcoming school year is SPACE.  I have been searching Pinterest and the web for ideas that I could use to make a spaceship in my room.  I wanted to use it as a little reading nook.  I would love to hear any ideas you might have.

Wanting to go back to the beach....Brian and I just returned from Williamsburg, Virginia.  Guess what?  Our two little guys stayed with grandma.  Thank you, Mommy!  We took them to Florida last year, so we didn't feel all that bad about not taking them this year.  It was so nice to get away because staying up late and waking up late is definitely my cup of tea...Ha! I know if we went back we would definitely take the boys.  So much to do there!

Needing to get a mani/pedi...I feel like my hands and feet could use a little TLC.  I honestly like to do my own manicures and pedicures.  It's very relaxing and I get to practice my nail art skills.  This is on my to do list for this week.  By the way, did I mention that I was obsessed with nail polish? I have a slight problem! :)

Try not to compare yourself to anyone else....Do what YOU do!  When I first started blogging about 6 months ago, I would see all these blogs and TpT products that were amazing.  I would get discouraged and think that I would never have that many followers or create a product so great.  I realized with that attitude we wouldn't grow this blog.  I had to concentrate on what I was doing and not compare myself to everyone who had been blogging for way longer than a couple months.  I hope this makes sense. :)

Hope you had a good start to your week!

  3. I didn't see the "before" blog, but your new design is gorgeous! :) What great advice, too...I've had the same thoughts while looking at other blogs and TPT, but you're so right that it only holds us back from what we *could* be doing. Thanks for the positive thought today! :)
