Five for Friday (on a Saturday) …OOPS!

Hi Friends!  I know I have been neglecting our poor little blog lately but I decided to take my first two weeks of summer vacation and R-E-L-A-X. I tried to stay away from anything that was school related, but let me just say that it was IMPOSSIBLE.  Anyway, it’s back to reality and I am hoping to get back on track with everything especially when a new school year is quickly approaching for me.  SN:  Since I am at a year-round school, we will be starting back towards the end of July.  Yes, folks, I said it….the end of July.   I’m linking up with Doodlebugs Teaching for a fun linky.

1.  Have you been reading about the end of Google Reader?  I must say I have read many posts about the change to Bloglovin’.  Last week, I went ahead and switched over  and it was harmless….promise.  Ideas by Jivey has a great tutorial to get you started.  You can follow The Teaching Twosome on Bloglovin’ by clicking the graphic below.

2.  Our oldest son will be attending kindergarten this fall….tear.  We received paperwork about his schedule, school supply list…etc.  Our little kinder is so excited.  I can’t believe how much he has grown.  I am trying to get myself ready emotionally for his first day.  Know what I mean?  We are working on tying shoes this summer.  Anybody have any good tricks?

3.  I have started working on a few new products for TpT.  I have put a couple of these on the back burner for a while and decided to finish them up.  After a few more edits, they should be ready to post next week.  Here’s a quick peek.

   

4.  I thought it would be cool to try out a Teacher’s Notebook account.  I will be continuing to upload products so head on over and check us out.

5.  Finally, there are going to be amazing changes soon with our blog in the near future.  We are so excited about them.  I can’t wait for you to see what we’ve been up to. It’s a surprise so check back soon. :)
