My teaching partner and I always tie-dye shirts at the end of year so that we can wear them to the final awards assembly and as a keepsake for the students. This year we decided to go with the color yellow. We are lucky enough to have a washer and dryer at our school, so the process was rather easy. Have you ever did tie-dye in the washer? So simple. Here’s how they came out.Since I had a sports theme in my classroom this school year, I used bubble paint to put the student’s name and number. Love!
I also do a slide show presentation with music at the end of each year. I show a picture of each child at the beginning of the year and a picture from the end of the year. They get to see how different they look. I also post who their third grade teacher will be….So exciting!
Friday was clean up day for me. I spent most of the day completing paperwork, organizing, and taking down my wall décor. I was so exhausted when I came home that I CRASHED.
My hubby and I celebrated our eleventh anniversary yesterday. How wonderful it is to be married to such an amazing man! We spent the entire day together shopping and topped it off with lunch at The Cheesecake Factory! Snickers Cheesecake is DELISH!
Can you believe that we were so full from lunch that we didn’t even finish the piece that we shared?
Father’s Day was great! The boys and I showered our favorite guy with so much love. The boys were even on their best behavior at lunch. :) I love these two sillies!
