A Productive Snow Day & A FREEBIE!

Hello there!  I apologize in advance about this post.  It's kind of all over the place.  Did anyone have a snow day today?  This was our first one this school year and boy am I happy about it.  I looked out the window this morning and saw a sheet of ice on our driveway and street.  I will definitely be staying in today!  A snow day always gives me a chance to catch up on grading and get a head start on planning for the weeks to come.  Leave a comment if you had a snow day today and tell me about what you did.  I'd love to hear!

If you haven't noticed, I changed our blog around a little bit.  I've been having so much fun playing around, y'all.  Needless to say, I have no idea what I'm doing.  I just love experimenting! Soooooo....if you see a different set up every time you stop by to visit, don't judge me!  Ha!

Not only have I been working on grades and plans, this day was a perfect opportunity for me to work on a new product for our store.  We have been studying addition and subtraction with regrouping so this is where I got the idea for this next unit.  I hope to have it finished soon.

So I went to Michael's yesterday to pick up some card stock ONLY, but can I just tell you that I came out with MORE than just card stock. I couldn't pass up these cute little alphabet stamps. They were originally $4.99 but I had to pull out my coupons and teacher discount. I know I paid under $3 for them.

The alphabet stamps work great for my word work Stamp It Out activity that my kiddos love.  The stamps I have now have a plastic handle and may be on their last leg.

So sorry about this pic, but I'm sure you get the idea.

You can pick this up for free HERE.

Well I guess I should go now, I feel like I'm rambling. :)  Enjoy your weekend!

Shannon
